Alina Moers advises clients on IT law issues arising from digitalisation and the use of new technologies (inter alia, AI, metaverse, cloud, or IoT) in connection with innovative business models. Her primary focus in this regard is on data protection and IT law. Alina Moers advises companies on the establishment of AI governance and AI compliance frameworks and provides AI training (in particular on the EU AI Act). She has special expertise in legal issues relevant to data protection compliance of national and international business models.
Alina Moers studied law at the University of Cologne (Germany) and worked as a research assistant in IT and copyright law at a medium-sized law firm. As part of her legal training, she worked for the Federal Office of Justice in Bonn (Germany) and for Luther’s IP/IT team, amongst others.
